She's listed...

November 3, 2013

It feels like a month ago I posted about the condo in Palm Desert.
It's been 6 months now! Much of the work was done after
the hot summer months. With a limited budget, and two major things to
change, I think we made good choices. The floor had to go, and the
counters as well.

We wanted something updated and fresh. A few
things were changed in the kitchen. By removing the bar we
added work space. A full back splash in 4X8 white tile. We
removed three hanging lights and did recessed lights in the
kitchen and my CL chandelier in the dining room.
Here's a reminder:

Once the tile was pulled up, and the carpet in the
living room, things started to take shape.

Sometimes it's the choices in where to make the
changes for the most impact. We decided the flooring
and counters were a must!

In a small home unifying the flooring can make a huge
impact. In the next photo you'll see how it flows into
the bathroom. Our flooring choice for this was LVT.
Perfect for bath rooms, kitchens, dining, and overall living space.

Travertine counters for both bathrooms. We also
had the old medicine cabinets removed. Big
improvement.

In older buildings the bed rooms are so much bigger
than the homes built today. The rooms here are
very large. Both with walk in closets!

We did'nt stage the home, but did decide to
put a dining room table and two chairs.
A large shaggy area rug in the living room, and
one picture in the entry.

The views a really stunning, and season is starting.

This will be a really nice home for someone.
Wish us luck!
