This year I'm not putting up a tree. But I have decided to really splurge
on some holiday landscape. I stopped off at my local nursery to get
inspired.
I think these look good!
And some of these please...
Truth be told,
the house just got painted.
The front door is bright red. The painters come
back this weekend to finish up. I've never
had a red door, and I think I like it.
A lot!
Once that's complete I plan on adding some
black window boxes.

So many pretties at your nursery!!! I stopped by ours the other day for some paper white bulbs and their assortment of holiday flowers was just awful. As in they didn't have anything!!!! I bet your red front door is beautiful not to mention just perfect for Christmas :o)

Thanks Des for stopping by. Paint finishes up on Saturday, and I leave town on Sunday! When can my holidays begin? I'm ready....
DeleteI absolutely love the idea of all the fresh plants for the holidays! I might have to steal this next year, Sharon!
ReplyDeleteHi Kimberly,
DeleteI wanted something different than I normally do, yet, I still want it Christmas. I let you know if I still had an emotional response throughout the holiday season! I love the greenery, and natural element in a formal way. Like a square boxwood wreath and red ribbon.

Beautiful! What a lovely idea!! And I cannot wait to see your red door! :)

I keep forgetting that not everyone lives where it's cold in December! I would be nice to be able to have a garden all year round!
ReplyDeleteI love paperwhites with the poinsettias! Beautiful!

I'm with you Sharon, I really don't want to put up our tree. I'd rather fill the house with seasonal flowers too. Whatever you decide I'm sure it will be lovely.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your red door. I bet it looks fantastic.
ReplyDeleteI'm not putting up a tree either....cant wait to see your front door and pretty landscaping...
