I have to start out by letting you know that I have no experience with wallpaper. After following some of my favorite blogs and seeing the success that they have had with it, I had to try. Let's start out with visiting The Green Room Interiors. This is where I got the idea, after seeing Kimberly's fearless decision to install horizontally instead of vertically. This was genius! Please take a look at this!

Considering wallpaper is one thing. To purchase is another. It's pretty pricey. After seeing Beth's amazing score from Ebay, it gave me hope. Her phenomenal laundry room from Linda's ORC lead me to believe that if I looked, I too might be able to achieve this. Take a look you won't believe how wallpapering the room transformed it. Along with the many other elements of this make over.

To reinforce my decision to wallpaper my bedroom was this stunning example from Andrea at The Glam Pad. I have been reading her blog and really enjoyed watching her home transform. This bold and beautiful choice for her powder bathroom gave me courage to say YES. This is by far something everyone should consider for a powder bathroom. After all, it's a room most of your guests will be in. It's small enough to go all out, and it makes such a statement!

Every time I add color I get an unsettling feeling. That's why I'm so disappointed that I don't like the botanical's from France in the room. I guess it's trial and error.
I'm happy with the wallpaper and seagrass. I also like the drapery. One thing I added
were the new lamps. I prefer gold, but these were a mix of silver and gold.
The next thing for this room is painting the ceiling. At least finding the right color.
At the same time I'm looking into new bedding. For me, it has to be all white.
So with all this going on I realized that the house color was now bugging me.
So I tested a few colors on some small walls. I think I like one, but it's cloudy outside.
So I'll have to give it a few days and see it in different lighting. With any luck,
I may have found one. I do like the transition from the hall, where I tested it, into
