On schedule for ceiling installation...

Order the wood. Check. Scheduled the scaffolding to be delivered. Check. Text the installer to confirm date. Check.
Wait, what? He wants to move the date back a week? Okay. Reschedule the scaffolding. Check.

I think it's worth the wait. Until then I can only sit in my living room and imagine...

So right now shoes are on my mind. Rather how to store them. Here's some of my favorites.

How great would this be to get dressed in the morning?

Or this?

Somehow my shoe closet doesn't quite look like the ones above, but I do feel organized.
I keep my purses and boots in a cabinet. It does make getting dressed easier.

In my closet is where I keep my shoes. I fit more on the shelves
by pointing one forward and the other backwards. I can see the toe and the heel
while making my selection.

I think need a chandelier like the images above.

You know what they say,
"if the shoe fits"...

  1. Hi Sharon, I like the way your shoes are arranged. It looks very organized. I'm actually trying to glam up my closet, too. Hopefully, I'll be ready to post a picture by next month. Have a great day.

  2. What I wouldn't give for a closet like the one you're working on. I have horrible 70's closet with bifold doors. I think that says it all. I am going to love watching this transformation take place!!

  3. How great would it be to have all those shoes!!! My 200year old farm house is short on closet space, its such a bummer!

  4. I love your shoe storage!! So chic and functional!!
