I'm moving!

It happened just like that....
I went to Whole Foods and on my way home I decided to drive through my targeted area. I planned on moving in two years or so. I happened to drive down a street when an agent was sticking a sign into the ground saying "Open House". Why not?
I should see the floor plan.

No, I'm not on the lake but about 10 houses up. This is the beach area.

I've been finishing up the unfinished projects around my home as it was requested from my buyer.
And frankly, I should have done them a while ago!
I almost fell over when the agent said she might have someone interested in my place.
"oh yeah...right" I said to myself.
She came over, asked if she could take pictures, emailed them to her client.
She called me for a showing, and it was over!
Just. Like. That.

Now I had to secure the new place.
Long story short, I did.
Here's what she looks like. In case you were wondering why I was
posting homes that look like Cape Cod. However, we're going to
change her up a bit. I'm going to make it more of a Hampton's look.

Here's the plan. Never mind all the little things that need to change
after I move in, let's just go straight to the big ones.

New paint. I'd like a  brown with white trim. Like this one...

Pretty, right?

New landscape, similar to this.

I just can't quit my boxwood love! I like how it takes you to the front door.

And perhaps a garage door like this.

Isn't that one pretty?

This home needs a lot of work. So why the purchase?

I stumbled onto this one day and saw an opportunity, that just happened to
come together in a very unexpected way.
I'm feeling lucky.

How does one hold it together when in two escrows?
I do a lot of yoga...
Saturday morning the Four Seasons offers a 12 week program during the
summer. Yoga by the pagoda. About 100 of us on the lawn outside.

A little slice of zen.

This week I will be packing, moving, and working. I hope I can hold it
together and make it through the week. I'm a one man band.

This year looks very promising for many, many, projects.

Please stay tuned.....
I move this Friday, assuming everything goes smoothly.
You know escrows!
