Operation Transformation...

Progress is being made on operation transformation! Nothing to get really excited about here, but the landscape has officially been removed. You can actually see the house now. Old, dated, overgrown, and roots lifting the concrete patio. My case has been made.

Yes, all of this was removed!

And this. The good news is I get to start fresh. After I replace the fence on the
back patio. And then paint. It's a never ending project.
 The kind I secretly like.

Here's what it looks like right now. I hesitate to plant anything
for two reasons. The heat is relentless, and the house needs to be painted!
We'll just see how long I can hold off for.

Brace yourself, because it's not pretty...

Sometimes you have to take a step back before stepping forward.

I have a vision here. And a to do list a mile long.
This house just needs some TLC. I liken it to a make over.

This was once a wall of Cyprus trees. 30' tall.
It's not a good thing when trying to back out of your driveway
when you can't see. Clearly I can see now.

This last shot is why I was drawn to this neighborhood.
The sun setting over the Santa Monica
Mountains. Peaceful. Pretty. Perfection.

Have a great week,

Sharon

    1. Between deciding on the limited colors the community will allow, the new fence, paint on the inside ect...,the planting should be easy! Thanks for stopping in.
