My Finished Product...

After searching for just the right shape cabinet, I was able to complete a project that I've always
wanted to try. I found the cabinet on CL for $80.00, and with some chalk paint and a little
time....

Drum roll please...

It was pretty easy to paint. I finished up with a dark wax to age the
white.

I also used rub n buff gold on the handles and trim.

For now, this is about all I have going on in the house.
A few other projects will be taking place soon.

I'm thinking about going ahead and getting my flooring done. I just
don't think I can take it any longer!!!

With Thanksgiving a few weeks away, I may have missed my opportunity
for ordering and instillation. But with company coming,
I was hoping to get it done.

Thanks for stopping in today,

Sharon

  5. Hi Cynthia,
Try it! You can't mess up with chalk paint. I know, because I did. I just re taped the line and went over the dry paint. The dark wax is what did the trick. It takes it down a notch with a nice aged effect. I'm now looking for a new piece....
