Getting ready...

Gorgeous Leaf Edged Pie Crust ... Pie Crust Cutters available at ... http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/pie-crust-cutter/?cm_src=AutoSchRel ... $14.95, set of 4

As I prepare the house, as best I can, for Thanksgiving, I find myself thinking of the menu.
Of course I will have the family classics, but I also want a few surprises.
Look at how beautiful that pie crust is! It's always the details that make the difference.

Honeycrisp Apple Sangria Recipe - the perfect cocktail for the fall season! Love Sally's Baking Addiction!

I was stumbling around Pinterest and found this beautiful presentation. I had to investigate!
This cocktail will definitely be on the menu. If you have the chance, please bounce over and
see the blog that this creation came from. I will be visiting regularly...

This next week will be my last chance to pull my menu together and plan the table. While still getting settled, friends and family are always welcome.

Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving recipe? Or
do you search for new ideas?

Please feel free to share!

  1. I actually love a good themed dinner. This year sis is making it all Southern style with tons of bbq flavors, cheesy grits, buttery corn...yummmm salivating just thinking about it!
Thank you for visiting hun, would love to get your thoughts on my latest design!

  2. Hi Sharon! Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving celebrating with your family and friends. I usually stick to the same dinner menu each year because my family enjoys the classics. I will usually search Pinterest for a new dessert or appetizer though. Sangria would be fun to add the drink menu too!

  3. WE have the same thing year after year - down to the same vegetables! And I love it. It feels like Thanksgiving because its' the only time we have that exact meal every year!
