Chic outdoor pools...

Chic pools have been crossing my mind. Green lawns, and tall hedges.

Not so fast. While planning the second half of my the patio project I'm
constantly thinking of water.
Why?
Severe water shortage in California. No breaking news if you live in
the sate.
So I look at pictures and dream.

Designers John Dransfield (r) and Geoffrey Ross by the pool at their East Hampton home.

I'm attracted to the simplicity and yet chic lines of these images.

The above photo does it for me.
 Green hedges, and white gates!

With water conservation on my mind, I'm still trying to achieve this look without the lawn.
Boxwoods in containers, hedges, and straight lines.

If I can't have a pool, what about a wall fountain?
Chic, No?

I thought so....

Have a great week!

    1. I think we've all been doing rain dances out here. Looks like another dry winter. I always fear the summer with fires....so all prayers are welcome! :)

    1. Seeing that I only have patios, I have no choice! lol... I love the fountain and have a perfect spot against the wall. I'm looking to do something modern. Simple. Statement. Do you have a source? I have heard about a place in Santa Monica....
