Making a change

I'm looking to make a change to a cabinet that I purchased from CL a few years back. I found it in Santa Barbara and used it to house my boots and handbags. Since the move it's been relocated to
the main room and houses my blue and white collection.

As I settle into my home I think it's time for a change. I have a few things in mind.

The photo below shows a very similar cabinet against the wall.

As I get acclimated to the new space, and changes are made, I think that it
would look better in a different color.

 :

I'm considering painting it black with a cloudy white inside. The shells look amazing
and very tranquil.

Also under consideration is bleaching the wood. I like the raw a la natural
look. As changes are made to the room I think the answer
will reveal it's self in time.

I'm not opposed to painting it a color and leaving the inside a fresh
lighter color. If you have done something like this before and have a color
that you can recommend, please do. All colors are up for consideration.

Thanks for stopping in,

Sharon

    1. I'm still gathering ideas, but I know it's time for a change. So far I like the idea of black with a muted chalk color inside. I appreciate you weighing in on this, you have fabulous taste!!!
