Where do you get inspiration?

I'm back from vacation and couldn't wait to hit social media for all
the wonderful images. I love dishes, and have for as long as I can remember.

I found myself combing over all of holiday images of table settings. Then I remembered I
had a pinterest page of settings. This got me thinking about random thoughts of where I get
inspiration for settings, and dressing the table.

I also  pin couture gowns. Don'r ask, I haven't a clue why I pin them other than the colors
are striking along with texture. I certainly don't have that kind of lifestyle.

Garden party color inspiration. I see pale blue and white hydrangea with a touch of orange ranunculus.:

Clearly inspiration can be drawn from anywhere.
I try to use things I already have, and slowly add in
things I can use in the future. Such as monogrammed
The next thing that should always be used in abundance if possible
is fresh flowers or things from nature.

Whatever it is that you like to do, do it well
my friends and do it with abundance.

Wishing you a season of beauty,

  1. Hi Sharon...My Christmas decor just doesn't go with my style anymore...its the PITS! I pulled out a couple of boxes and nothing goes...

  2. Hi Julie,
I think we all have had that feeling at one point in our holiday decorating. Nothing wrong with cleaning out, donating, and starting fresh.
This year, I'm only doing natural floral decor. It's my mood I guess!!!
